Born in the modest, multi-cultural city of Leicester, Idle Torque was founded in 2016 by local lad, Jack Guttridge. From the start, it was very important to distance Idle Torque from the status quo and bring a new energy and style to the way people shop for their motorcycle goods.
Uninspired by the run-of-the-mill clothing on offer in the conventional motorcycle shops in the Midlands, Jack decided to set up his own shop, which would specialize in selling premium protective, yet casually styled, motorcycle clothing that seemed to be only available online or in shops in and around London.
Idle Torque also works with local clothing manufacturers to produce quality lifestyle garments such as socks, jumpers, hats, and scarves, as well as handmade leather goods and artwork.

Break Fluid was founded in 2015 by Ant and Chris, two friends with a passion for great coffee. Initially, they sold their products at festivals, through mail order, and on social media. In 2019, new owners took over, aiming to expand while staying true to the brand's roots.
The new owners launched a revamped website in Spring 2019, added athletes to their roster, and expanded their merchandise line. In May 2020, Break Fluid sponsored the Toyota British GT Supra race team to enhance their presence in the automotive sector. That same year, they signed a distribution agreement with Liquid Line to install 1000 coffee machines across UK retail and sports venues.
Russell Merry, the main shareholder since January 2021, brings extensive experience from the action sports industry and shares the founders' passion for great coffee. Russell is committed to expanding the Break Fluid brand to a wider audience.
